Obama's Abortion Socialism
American Thinker ^ | December 13, 2008 | Paul Kengor

Posted on 12/12/2008 11:40:52 PM PST by St. Louis Conservative

Conservatives rightly fear that President Obama will produce the Democrat Party's third great expansion of the welfare state, extending Leviathan beyond FDR's and LBJ's most fertile imaginations. Yet, Barack Obama constitutes an altogether different danger: expansion of federal power into cultural areas -- with an economic justification -- where previous Democratic presidents would have never considered going.

Barack Obama is seeking to nationalize certain cultural areas as an entirely new means of redistribution to the masses. Historically, the left has endeavored to nationalize specific, say, industries. Obama, however, envisions the nationalization of something wholly unique -- namely, abortion policy.

As any college student ought to learn in PoliSci 101, communism and socialism view the world through the prism of economics. The communist and socialist thrust nearly every conceivable idea in front of an economic lens, even those that don't belong there. Everything becomes an income or class issue.

Obama sees "abortion rights" in several ways, but, principally, he perceives abortion as a matter of economic fairness. For Barack Obama, abortion is not merely a Constitutional right; it is a matter of social justice. He believes it is patently unfair that some women struggle to afford an abortion, or cannot purchase the procedure at all. Consequently, the state -- meaning a single federal state -- should seize that right and ensure its equitable distribution to every (female) citizen. This is spreading the wealth -- on the skin of America's unborn.

What you have here, remarkably, is a kind of abortion socialism, utterly unprecedented in the history of America.

Who knows the limits of this depravity.

They will first try to force people to perform abortions.

If they could do it, there are those who under the guise of reducing CO2 footprints advocate a one child policy for this country like Red China does. Wickedness does not stand still, it comes in increments. Would Obama himself go that far, probably not yet.

First the FOCA, then forced participation, then one child, like a stair step downwards.

From a theological perspective, there is an operation of Divine wrath in judgment which gives men, also nations, over from unrepentant sin to deeper and deeper expressions of the depravity that lives in their heart, Romans 1:18-32. "Without natural affection," Rom. 1:31, is included in this "wrath of God revealed from heaven..." Rom. 1:18.

...”In the end, it is ignorance that will kill us — in this case, literally. We know that the public knows nothing about socialism, a direct result of the failures of the liberal media and education. Add to that the ignorance of Obama’s radicalism on abortion, and what do you get? A toxic brew poised to poison America’s soul”...

America is already toxic because of the lack of truth and the written distortions of history. Just think of the distortions and the history rewritten you have seen, experienced and witnessed in your own lifetime. Our MSM is prone to distort and revise events even as they happen. Freedom and hope are now almost gone for the majority of our people because of ignorance and fear caused by the corruption of our leading officials and economic guru’s. The threat to our society is not our home values or our job..It is the loss of freedom which will make everyone poor and dependent on the malignant, godless, ruthless, uneducated (little real life/real job experience) men and women who hold the reigns of power due to the ignorance of our populace. When people vote with their right minds they do not vote for good looks or celebrity..They vote for someone who will preserve life and liberty. All that is just about gone. I am going to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas this year as never before, because I see the time coming when one’s faith, like one’s tobacco smoke, will not be allowed in public. Christians will be driven underground through the same ignorance and distortions which have poisoned our society as a whole.

There were only two times in recorded history (there may have been more) that the government approved and endorsed the death sentence on children:
First was at the birth of Moses, and second was at the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

Yes..I have recently reread the book of Ezekiel..Though it is Old Testament, it still reflects the unavoidable consequences of the sin we see around us today. I cannot help but believe that widespread (and we know not how wide) drug use has promoted much of the breakdown we are experiencing. The boldness which comes from the cocaine use, the pain killers and the other “toxicities” people take into their bodies, is void of any kind of good judgment. Under the influence of those chemicals everyone becomes a narcissist, and, of course, feeling entitled to say and do whatever. In addition, I personally believe that, for some, freely prescribed antidepressants also are responsible for some lack of conscience and concern about behaviors and no one knows the high number of people who are permanently on these. It seems that the willingness to be personally responsible for one’s own actions and decisions is a thing of the past. Anyway, the quote from Romans 1:18 is right on. Thanks!

Pro-Abortion Groups Issue 55-Page Marching Orders for Barack Obama Admin

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) — A coalition of dozens of pro-abortion groups have issued a 55-page memorandum and the web site for the Barack Obama transition team posted it online. The new memo from groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL gives Obama his marching orders for the next four years.

The memo sets forth the kind of decisions Obama should make when it comes to topics like abortion, abortion funding and abstinence education.

The pro-abortion directive calls on President Obama to take the lead in calling for Congress to pass the radical Freedom of Choice Act and to sign it into law once it arrives at his desk.

“We urge the President to signal public support for FOCA and call on Congress to pass this important legislation,” the memo says.

The legislation would make unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy the national law and overturn hundreds of pro-life laws from partial-birth abortion bans to parental involvement laws in all 50 states.

Douglas Johnson, the legislative director for National Right to Life, said the abortion lobby laid out its Christmas wish list in the memo.

“This document is a road map to what we call ‘the Obama abortion agenda,’” he told....

Abortion on this scale is another form of the sacrificing of babies to Satan- something the pagan worshippers of Moloch in Canaan practiced, before God told the children of Israel to go in there and annihilate them. Their iniquity had become fully ripe and it was time.

The land spewed them out, but later the Israelites fell into the same practice and the land spewed them out.

I fear we are near the end for freedom, for personal responsibility, for Christianity.
